The view from Sunset Hill.

Sunset Hill

This suite takes its name from the reference in John Greenleaf Whittier's poem “The Wood Giant” which describes a tall pine tree on Sunset Hill which grew centuries ago on the property. The suite consists of two rooms; a sleeping room and sitting room. The sleeping room houses an antique queen size four poster bed, a soft upholstered reading chair, writing/breakfast table and a small kitchenette. The sitting room consists of two soft cozy chairs situated to encompass the magnificent views of the lake and mountains.  There is also a day bed and bureau in this room. Charming ambiance abounds with views of the back lawns, Squam Lake and the White Mountains.
